Our children are encouraged to explore, discover and question through a range of exciting learning opportunities both within and outside the classroom.
The children are allowed to explore for themselves the natural environment, learning to appreciate and gain a respect for nature.
We provide every child with the learning experiences that give them the self-belief, diversity of skills and inspiration to follow their dreams.
We embed our values within the curriculum and use a shared vocabulary to build a deep understanding of our values and how they can enrich our lives.
We have been learning some yoga balances this term and today we created our own yoga flow of moves. We have improved our balance, strength and flexibility and spent time concentrating on breathing and being in the moment. https://t.co/r1EMrg72pV
We are enjoying reading all of our books today in 2 Yellow. https://t.co/5oIe7M56GK
Thank you to Miss Kelly for reading a book to 6 Grey for World Book Day! https://t.co/h0xjkvSior
The Hillside PTA is a committee of parents/guardians and staff volunteers who organise events throughout the year to raise extra funds for the school to buy additional resources not funded through the main school budget.
Our PTA is a means of involving parents/guardians in the work and social community of the school. All parents/guardians are eligible to join the committee or they can just help at the events – all help (however little) is very much welcomed.
Find out what amazing activities we have been getting up to via our Twitter Feeds here.
The foundation stage is where our youngest children start their school journey.
This is a very important stage as it helps your child get ready for school as well as preparing them for their future learning and successes. Up until the age of 5, their early years should be happy, active, exciting, fun and secure; and support their development, care and learning needs.
